Benteke leaves DC for Abu Dhabi

The most dominating aerial presence in MLS history has chosen a new destination! Christian Benteke formerly of DC United has signed with Al Wahda FC in Abu Dhabi!

Benteke tallied an impressive 49 goals and 11 assists in 100 appearances for DC, highlighted by the 2024 Golden Boot, when Big Ben bagged 23 times for DC United.

Prior to DC, Benteke was the talisman for Aston Villa, Liverpool, and Crystal Palace. Benteke was one of the most prolific goal scorers during his premier league era scoring 86 times in the prem.
