Norwalk, Connecticut native Jonathan Jimenez delivered a storybook ending Saturday night at Trinity Health Stadium in Hartford. Jimenez's left footed goal in the 90+4th minute of stoppage time propelled Hartford one step closer to home field advantage in the 1st round of the USL Championship playoffs.

Hartford came out flying and took the early lead when Marlon Hairston's clipped ball to Seb Anderson gave Hartford the 1-0 lead. Anderson's 1st touch was immaculate in guiding the ball to his left foot for the finesse finish.
Not long after, Michee Ngalina doubled the Athletic lead when Kyle Edwards chested the ball to Ngalina, who found himself unmarked and ready to finish. He did....then unveiled his famous backflip.
Sacramento who played well in the offensive end brought a goal back very late in the 1st half, Jack Gurr half volleyed a cross with the outside of his boot to slow Hartford's roll and give life to Sactown.
Sacramento waisted no time equalizing in the 2nd half. Midfield maestro Cristian Parano danced his way free and found Dom Wanner for the game tying goal, stunning the Hartford faithful.
Most thought the points were going to be shared.....but Hartford has been playing brilliantly as of late stole the 3 points when Jimenez tallied.
It was a glorious night in Hartford as the Jagermeister Cup was unveiled to fans. New merch and Italian heritage night made a fun night for all.

Hartford has 2 road games left before playoffs. They currently sit 3rd in the East and are hoping to earn a 1st round playoff game in Hartford, which would be a 1st.........
