Vermont Green FC women drew 1-1 vs FC Laval in an exhibition match on Saturday night. The game was held at Virtue Field on the campus of The University of Vermont.
US women's team hero Sam Mewis was the manager for Vermont on Saturday night. Vermont Green is exploring the avenues of fielding a women's team for 2025.
A massive crowd was in attendance to see the inaugural event. Neve Renwick scored the goal for Vermont who's roster was filled with current college players and other top talent from all over looking to build their pro and college resumes.
