UVM ON TOP!

Rob Dow and the UVM Catamounts shocked the NCAA soccer world winning the NCAA D1 National Championship.

The cardiac kids from Burlington had another come from behind win beating Marshall 2-1 in the NCAA College Cup Final.

This time out it wasn't Yaniv Bazini who played the hero role as Maximilian Kissel buried the game winner 4 minutes and 53 seconds into the first overtime period.

Marcell Papp equalized for UVM in the 81st minute after Marshall drew first blood in the 67th minute when super sub Tarik Pannholzer opened the scoring in Cary, North Carolina.

It was Vermont's first National Championship in men's soccer history. Not only was it UVM's first title, it was also the first men's soccer championship for an America East side since the leagues inception.

Not only was this a massive accomplishment for the University, the whole Burlington, Vermont community embraced this special group all season and were taken for a ride of a lifetime.

Congrats to the UVM Catamounts and all involved in their soccer program.
