USYNT and MLS Next Showcase at Gillette

Gillette Stadium and the Socios Fieldhouse was a busy place the last several days. Earlier in the week the USYNT held a talent ID Center for some of the best 2008 & 2009 birth year players in Foxboro. Many of the players were from the Boston Bolts, New England Revolution and International Football Academy. Other clubs with players participating included NEFC, Valeo, Seacoast United and Bayside as well as a handful of others. This weekend the New England Revolution hosted an MLS Next Showcase event involving some of the regions best MLS Next teams. Philadelphia Union, NEFC, Bayside and the New England Revolution played a round robin style tournament, giving their players the opportunity to play at Gillette Stadium. The success of this event will lead to similar style showcase weekends for other clubs around the region.
