With the weather getting warmer and summer approaching USL 2 takes center stage for the sicko Footy fan. Reigning USL 2 champs Seacoast United hope to repeat their magic run from 2024.

Massive youth club NEFC joins the USL 2 for the 2025 campaign. They will play their home matches at WPI in Worcester. Black Rock FC has moved from Colby Sawyer to Rivier in Nashua, NH. Seacoast will play again in Epping, NH. Boston City returns to Malden Catholic. AC Connecticut will host their matches out in Danbury, while Boston Bolts move from Mt. Ida in Newton, to Brandeis University in Waltham.

The heartbeat of the league continues to be the Western Mass Pioneers venue Lusitano Stadium in Ludlow, Mass, New England's 1st Soccer Specific Stadium. Virtue Field on the campus of UVM will be packed week in and week out hosting league sweethearts Vermont Green.

Rounding out the Northeast Conference is Albany Rush, who will play at Union College in Schenectady, NY.

With Marcos Dos Santos and league MVP Taig Healy returning to Seacoast United, I have them as Northeast division faves. Western Mass Pioneers will have something to say about that, the loss of Golden Boot winner Alec Hughes will leave them with big shoes to fill up top.

Yaniv Bazini's departure from Vermont Green will also have the the Green Mountain boys in need of a talisman up top.

It's gonna be another scorching summer in the Northeast, and plenty of local Footy to watch. Below is the Northeast division's schedule, enjoy!
