The Philadelphia Union completed the sweep of the New England Revolution Wednesday night at Gillette Stadium. The Union took game 2 of the best of 3 series 1-0, after convincingly defeating the Revs 3-1 in Game 1 at Subaru Park in Chester, PA.
For the Revs this loss finally ends their 2023 season which began splendidly, but ended with the organization and the team unable to live up to expectations. Many questions need to be answered in the off-season for New England. The list is very long, including Manager, Sporting Director and player personnel. This loss likely marked the last time Gustavo Bou puts on a Revs jersey as the Designated Players contract runs out December 31st.
