In many aspects of life it isn't how many times you get knocked down, it's if you choose to get back up or not. RIFC players Isaac Angking and Zachary Herivaux are prime examples of this and the bounce back has been inspiring.

The RIFC duo have recently found their form that had both as top prospects within the New England Revolution set up. Hailing from Brookline, Massachusetts, Herivaux never truly broke through with New England and was moved to the USL Championship. Herivaux spent time with Birmingham and Tampa Bay before getting moved to local side Rhode Island FC.

Angking had a more interesting path since leaving the Revs. Stints with Puerto Rico and Santa Cruz of the UPSL, and a bizarre time with the Crew saw Angking's soccer journey fading. That's when RIFC brought the Providence product back home. Since then Angking has tallied 2 goals including a game tying goal vs Sacramento Republic.

Herivaux's heroics came to fruition on Wednesday when he recorded a brace vs his old team Birmingham Legion leading RIFC to another win.
As a fellow New Englander it is heart warming seeing these 2 local products revive their pro soccer careers and contribute to an up and coming RIFC squad. This certainly will be interesting to see how this recent run of form for both impacts how far up the table RIFC climbs. As of right now the Anchors are as hot as the weather and the buzz is building.
