Legendary Sunday league football team SE Dons are joining Non League Football in England. They will be joining the SCEFL League which has clubs from Kent and South East London.

The Dons have been a mainstay in Sunday League footy for the last 10 years winning a multitude of leagues and trophies. Dons founder Don Strapszy has been accumulating quality talent for years to rep the Dons. Players from top English academies and clubs such as Arsenal and Millwall have suited up for the Dons over the last decade.

Legendary strikers Zak Ansah and Nathan Palmer both have over 100 goals scored for the club. OG Ugandan Goalkeeper Big G has been the rock in between the sticks during this time.

The Dons will be rebranding and naming a manager soon. SCEFL League play starts in September, but the Dons will begin their preseason fixtures in late July or August.

Joining Non League football presents a whole new challenge for the Dons. The SCEFL sits at the 9th and 10th step in the English Football pyramid. The club can either be promoted or relegated depending on where they finish in the league.

Below is a YouTube video from 2021 when the Dons played local rival Kenningwell. Footy New England was present and interviewed prior to the match. The Dons have over 500k social media followers.
