Recently acquired players Will Sands and Luca Langoni have made immediate impact for the New England Revolution and their push to making the MLS playoffs.
Sands who came from Columbus in exchange for Dejuan Jones has looked very solid playing LB. Sands has contributed 2 assists in just 3 games for New England. Sands has also defended the position effectively as well. New England also received a very valuable $600k in GAM in that transaction for Jones.
Langoni came to New England from famed Argentinian side BocaJuniors. The Revs dropped over $7 million to bring in Luca. That in itself is the biggest transfer fee in New England Revolution history for an incoming player.
Langoni has not disappointed recording 2 goals and an assist in his 3 appearances for the club so far. Both players know they need to continue producing of the Revs want to make the playoffs and try to make a run towards that elusive MLS Cup.
