It was another listless weekend for both New England based USL Championship sides as RIFC drew to North Carolina FC 0-0. Down Route 6 RIFC rival Hartford Athletic lost 1-0 to Charleston Battery.
After the hot start Hartford has cooled down and come back to Trinity Health Stadium on Saturday to try and get back in the win column. RIFC are also home to Sacramento Republic on Saturday. RIFC is still searching for their first home win in 2024.
Both teams are trying to get some form before they face off vs each other in the highly anticipated derby on June 1 in Hartford.
