Revs vs FC Cincy this weekend

1st place in the East is up for grabs this weekend as the New England Revolution host FC Cincinnati. It's been a busy week for both clubs as both teams had mid week US Open Cup wins in the competitions 3rd round. FC Cincinnati was particularly busy transferring Brenner to Udinese. It is unclear who will pick up the slack for FC Cincinnati. Brandon Vazquez is off to a slow start for Cincy and will need to start scoring if FC Cincy wants to stay near top in the Eastern Conference. New England continues to play well no matter the circumstances. Gustavo Bou and Bobby Wood are off the injury report and perhaps could contribute this weekend. Giacomo Vrioni will be a hard customer to take off the field scoring a brace last game in New England's win vs Sporting Kansas City. Kickoff is at 7:30 and on Apple TV. Rain appears to be in the forecast and could put a damper on the supposed large crowd being reported to be in attendance. It's a battle at the top. Revs vs Cincy!
