Revs stay hot

The New England Revolution finish their 3 game home stand a perfect 3 for 3. Revs dumped TFC 2-1 in front of a crowd of 25k on Saturday night. Bobby Wood and Giacomo Vrioni were the goal scorers for New England. Wood's goal occured in the first half when an attempted cross landed on his right foot a d Wood was able to beat TFC keeper near post. Vrioni's goal came in the second half as he came in for Gustavo Bou at halftime. Wood settled a nice long ball on his foot and played an incoming Vrioni. Vrioni stayed composed and cut the ball back to beat TFC keeper and help carry the Revs to victory. New England now sits 2nd in the Eastern Conference. A huge showdown awaits next week as New England travels to Cincy to battle first place FC Cincinnati.
