Revs search for backup Striker continues

With reports of Giacomo Vrioni heading back to Europe the Revs search for a backup Striker has taken some interesting twists and turns. The Revs locked up Leo Campana as top Striker this past week in a blockbuster deal.

Some (as in me) thought the Revs would have taken UMass Starlet Alec Hughes, but Hughes was selected 22nd by LAFC. Not saying Hughes would be a backup on the first team, however, he would have brought a buzz to Revs 2, who were one of the worst teams in MLS Next Pro history this past year.

Recent reports indicate that New England is interested in Ignatius Ganago. Ganago who has bounced around a bit in France looks set for a move to MLS.

Another interesting report is in regards to former Arsenal and Crystal Palace Striker Yaya Sanogo who is looking for a move to MLS. The 31 year old has been playing in China where he has 6 goals in 14 appearances.

I leave you with this, since Hughes is a no go, it's between Sanogo and Ganago to be Leo's bro, bro.............
