Revs lose, Hartford wins!

toddtinkham

The New England Revolution dropped their 3rd game in a row on Saturday in Chester Pa to the Philadelphia Union. 3 second half goals propelled the Union to the victory. The big story of the match continues to be Revolution players dropping like flies to the injury bug. Carles Gil took himself out of the game in the 30th minute to an apparent upper leg or groin injury. Right before extra time Brandon Bye fell to the ground and landed on his upper arm shoulder area and was immediately subbed off. We will continue to monitor the injury situation and what extent these injuries are. In better news the Hartford Athletic defeated Loudon United 2-0 in a wet affair at Trinity Health Stadium in Hartford. It was a much needed win for the Athletic who picked up their second win in the 2023 USL Championship campaign. Hartford looks to remain in the win column Friday night as they host Sacramento.
