Revs go back to back, are they turning a corner?

toddtinkham

After back to back 3-1 wins vs Inter Miami and Orlando City it looks as if New England Revolution have turned a corner. Revs were winless for a month and many were asking questions in regards to player performance and managerial decisions. Gustavo Bou has returned from a lengthy injury as well as Brandon Bye and the team has performed well the last 2 games. Defensively the Revs haven't been stellar but seem to be a bit improved with Dave Romney and Andrew Farrell looking more comfortable as a CB pairing. The big news over the last week was Bruce Arena buying out Jozy Altidore creating some salary space for hopeful incoming players. FC Cincinnati has strengthened and last year LAFC upgraded during the summer and that helped them hoist MLS Cup as well as Supporters Shield. Revs can also sign a U22 DP player as a replacement for Dylan Borrero who is out with a season ending ACL injury. With Toronto coming in New England should be able to win their 3rd game in a row before heading out to Cincy to play MLS top team FC Cincinnati. I for one am ultra curious and intrigued to see what Bruce Arena does to freshen up the squad. However, I am cautiously optimistic for we have been let down many times in the past....
