In front of several hundred summer campers and staff the New England Revolution 2 put on a goal exhibition the first 25 minutes of the match today. Goals from Marcos Dias, Malcolm Fry and Liam Butts carried the reserves to their 4th straight dub.

It was hot out today.........Yeah it's hot too........
It was hot out today.........Yeah it's hot too........

Marcos Dias began the barrage in the 4th minute with nifty footwork in the box drawing and converting his spot kick. Below is video of Dias PK goal.

Minutes later Malcolm Fry tallied his 4th goal in 6 games doubling the lead.

Capping the scoring in the 25th minute was Liam Butts. Butts was left unmarked in the box and tapped home a simple finish trippling the Revs 2 lead.

The 2nd half was boring and a bit uneventful, Partially due to the scorching heat which saw teams get hydration breaks every 15 minutes.

The heat didn't seem to bother smooth Revs midfielder Allan Oyirwoth who was fresh and clean on the ball for the entire 90 minutes.

The game was a breath of fresh air for the New England Revolution organization as both Supporters Groups have put out statements calling for the removal of sporting director Curt Onalfo and head coach Caleb Porter.

The Revs 2 climb to 4th in the standings and continue to push for a home field playoff match in MLS Next Pro..........
