MLS 2026 is now upon us in New England with players reporting today. The New England Revolution finished nearly 20 points below the playoff line, and lost 2 of their best attackers in Tomas Chancalay and Ignatius Ganago.
Who did they add? The Revs added two of Marko Mitrovic U20 USMNT players in Brooklyn Raines, and Ethan Kohler. Kohler a castaway from Werder Bremen and 3rd division side SC Verl and Raines who has shown a bit of promise but nothing concrete yet.

The Revs return Dor Turgeman and Carles Gil who are above average MLS players, but they will need rejuvenation from Leo Campana and Luca Langoni to turn the attack into a real threat.
The defense looks solid in Peyton Miller, Mamadou Fofana, Bryan Ceballos and Illay Feingold returning, with Matt Turner between the sticks.
The eye opener for me is how do you only add minimal pieces to a team that missed the playoffs by a country mile? Those in and around the team will paint a picture that the Revs will be very competitive in 2026 and could be a contender. The real ones know that unless more investment comes in with substantial upgrades it will be another trophy less season in Foxboro............
