Hartford Athletic hosted Orange County SC Saturday afternoon at Trinity Health Stadium in Hartford. Orange County found the back of the net early when Milan Iloski beat Hartford keeper Richard Sanchez near post on a free kick just outside the box. Hartford responded well creating many chances. They were rewarded very late in first half stoppage time, when Antoine Hoppenot put in a left footed cross. Kyle Edwards, just back from international duty miscalculated his header but the ball fell to Elvis Amoh who half volleyed home the equalizer and his 2nd goal of the season. Hartford dominated possession and shots but were unable to find a 2nd goal. With the draw Hartford remains winless this season with 2 draws and 2 losses. Hartford has a busy week ahead as they host Lansdowne Bhoys at 7 on Tuesday in the US Open Cup and travel to Charleston on Saturday in USL Championship action.
