Harkes and Gil carry Revs

It's been an amazing first 2 weeks from Ian Harkes. Since joining the Revs Harkes has started twice and last night opened up his Revs scoring account. Harkes first goal came off of a DC turnover in the middle Bobby Wood then played a lovely through ball to Harkes who caught Tyler Miller off his line and chipped him. Harkes second goal came from beautiful intricate passing at the top of the 18. Carles Gil then found Harkes who smashed it over Miller and off the crossbar to complete his brace. New Engalnd's first goal was scored by Gustavo Bou on a lovely floated cross from that man again Carles Gil. New England's 4th goal was an own goal completing the 4-0 trouncing of DC United. New England is now on 43 points and second in the Supporters Shield race. MLS play now takes a month off and Revs travel to NJ to play NYRB next Saturday night.
