Tomas Chancalay appears to be finding his form again for the New England Revolution. A 62nd minute left footed rocket was enough to carry the New England Revolution to a 1-0 over the Chicago Fire Saturday night.
Newly acquired GK Aljaz Ivacic was able to keep the clean sheet in his debut. Ivacic who came in a trade from the Portland Timbers was able to pull off one of the best saves in the young MLS season when he went full stretch to get a finger tip on a sure goal for the Fire.
New England travels to Harrison, New Jersey and Red Bull Arena on Saturday to try and keep the good times rolling in Foxboro. New England still remains in last place in the Eastern Conference but seem to be poised to push up the table with Caleb Porter bringing in players who suit his style of play in Xavier Arreaga and the aforementioned Aljaz Ivacic.
