Vermont Green FC baller Yaniv Bazini and Western Mass Pioneers talisman Alec Hughes both lead USL 2 with 11 goals each. Both players are in a race to the finish to see who will win the Golden Boot for the USL 2 season.
Bazini who played for the Vermont Catamounts and Hughes a UMass Amherst product are no strangers when it comes to getting on the score sheet.
The Pioneers and Green are near top of the Northeast division of USL 2 have a handful of games left before postseason play. The regular season concludes July 14th when both teams face each other at Lusitano Stadium in Ludlow, Massachusetts.
