Dylan Borrero is recovering well from his ACL surgery. The injury occurred in early May when Borrero was making a play on the ball and took an awkward fall on the Gillette Stadium turf. Borrero appeared to be in excruciating pain and was stretchered off and was scene leaving the stadium on crutches. Since Borrero's surgery in May he has been going through arduous rehab in preparation for the 2024 MLS season. Borrero told GMG prior to the Revs vs Queretaro Leagues Cup match, through his translator that "rehab is going very well and their is the possibility of him being ready for the start of the 2024 season." Borrero was seen without any type of brace while walking and seemed very comfortable and pain free. Borrero also said that "he is very thankful for the support on and off the field during this tough time." Borrero came to New England with high expectations and has yet to live up to his potential mainly do to injuries. One thing is for sure. With a healthy Borrero Revs will be unplayable on the offensive side of things.
